Twilight Tour with My Tiger Tours

When travelling to a new city, many of us find it difficult finding all the hidden gems on offer for tourists, most of which are off the regular touristy tracks. Wouldn't it be nice to have a local to show you everything you can enjoy? Well that's what you get with My Tiger Tours.
While travelling in Vietnam, my friend and I decided to try a twilight tour with My Tiger Tours, which was recently recognised with a 2013 Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor. My Tiger Tours is run completely by young female college students, which is comforting for female travellers.
The twilight tour is done on a scooter, driven by one of the company drivers, and with us was also the company owner, who took a great many pictures for us. This was convenient as it was hard to take pictures ourselves while holding onto a scooter. The drivers were very competent, and both myself and my travel friend felt comfortable navigating the congested streets. You are also picked up from, and dropped back to the front door of your hotel.
We were taken to various places, a night flower market, along the Saigon River and to some out of the way places for dinner and dessert (eaten sitting on child size seats) to name a few.
So if you are planning on travelling to Saigon, I would highly recommend My Tiger Tours if you are wanting to be taken around the city. The best thing about our tour, we didn't have to pay until the tour had finished; the owner's vision being that if you don't enjoy your tour, you don't have to pay. They also do tours to the Cu Chi Tunnels & the Mekong Delta away from Saigon; we wish we'd used these guys for our Mekong Delta Tour. Tours start from $35 per adult, $25 per child.
Tour bookings can be made through the My Tiger Tours website, or you can call them direct. (Our hotel called them on our behalf)
