Sounds of the farm yard are set to accompany market goers at the Twilight Markets in Wynnum Central on Saturday 14th March.
Expect some snorts from the pigs and clucking from the chickens as an Animal Farm sets up along Edith Street in the heart of the Wynnum CBD.



Children, and I am sure all adults in tow, will enjoy the mix of animals alongside the usual array of market stalls in this popular 'new' addition to the Brisbane market scene.



Music is again on hand to entertain the shoppers and browsers. Wayward Angels is a new addition to the program bringing their own style of 'bluegrass and sweet harmonies' and a mix of 'old-timey and alt-country covers/originals' to Brisbane's bayside.



The four-piece band of Kay Armstrong (banjo), Jody Bell (mandolin), Brenda "Lee" Kelly (guitar) and Anne-Marie Lawton (double bass) will share lead vocals between them, allowing them to bring their individual vocal strengths to the fore.

Wayward Angels have performed at the Redlands Bluegrass Festival and the Tamworth Country Music Festival at its many pubs and cafes.

They will join an array of other singers on the program alongside the Twilight Markets usual mix of art, craft, vintage stalls with a range of fine food and general food stalls.

Whilst in Wynnum enjoy the lovely foreshore and one of the many local and pre-loved shops.
