Twilight Food Affair: Celebrating 30 Years

Can you smell the chorizo paella and freshly baked stroopwafels? The much-loved Twilight Food Affair will return to Tatachilla Lutheran College on Friday 21 March 2025.

This year's event will commemorate the college’s 30th anniversary and showcase a range of delicious international street food and standout wines and beers from the McLaren Vale region.

Families will also be treated to carnival rides, sideshow entertainment, live music performed by Tatachilla students and a spectacular fireworks display at 9:00pm.

Set in the lush landscape of one of Australia’s oldest and most acclaimed wine regions, the Twilight Food Affair takes place in term one every year on college grounds. It attracts approximately 5,000 people from across the Fleurieu Peninsula, the Adelaide Hills and metropolitan Adelaide. The event is regarded as one of the biggest community events in McLaren Vale and is a significant fundraiser for the school.

Twilight-goers can look forward to sampling tasty treats from Italy, Greece, Mexico, Spain, India and Argentina - as well as a delicious range of freshly prepared Australian bush food and homemade desserts.

The Twilight Food Affair has continuously upheld its commitment to supporting local food and wine businesses and maintaining its authentic, family-friendly vibe for more than 18 years.

All members of the community are invited to pack their picnic rugs and head to the southern vales for this magical night of family fun amid the vines.
