I am always looking out for new experiences, wherever I may find myself.
The annual Twilight Concert that takes place at Wahroonga Park every year will have a distinctly 1960s feel in 2015. Both acts are set to perform lots of hits from the decade.
The first performer will be The Diamands, who will treat you to songs by Diana Ross, The Supremes, Aretha Franklin and more.
Beatles tribute band The Beatnix will also take to the stage. This group has been around since 1980, when they initially came together for just a single season (but their shows were so popular they decided to keep going).
The Twilight Concert will go from 5.00pm to 8.00pm and take place on Saturday October 17. Entry is free.
There is no seating provided, so you will need to bring your own rug or chair. If you have a low chair, you can sit near the front, but higher chairs will be required to stay at the side or to the back.
Food stalls will give you a few dinner options and also provide coffee and wine. You are welcome to bring your own food and drink too.
Parking around Wahroonga Park is limited, so take the train where you can (Wahroonga Station is across the road).
Getting to the event early is recommended so you can get the best spot.
