Honey balls here
It's that time of year again everyone and as you start thinking of what is on offer, here is one event you can't pass up.

The Ladies Auxiliary of the Greek Community of St George, (a formidable bunch of Greek Ladies) are putting on their Xmas market on the 24th of November from 6.30pm - 9 pm on the grounds of the Greek Orthodox Church in Brisbane, Corner of Besant and Edmonstone St, South Brisbane.

There will be pop up food stalls, jewellery stalls, plant stalls, Xmas novelty stalls, a petting zoo for the kids, a Father Nicholas and a Santa Chair to take photos of the kids with Santa, a Greek Cultural stall and even a Choir of the Greek school singing Greek and English carols.

Best of all the Greek ladies will be busy preparing the delicious jams and Greek sweets which will be one sale, including kourabiedes (pastries with almonds and icing sugar) Melomakarouna (honey biscuits) and Loukoumades (honey balls).

Go along and have some delicious treats and take the kids. It will be a lovely evening out and all money raised goes to charity.
Support this cause and ΚΑΛΑ ΧΡΙΣΤΟΥΓΕΝΝΑ! Merry Xmas everyone.
