Ready for some Malaysian fusion cafe food? Tweety Bird Cafe is another successful cafe by L. Law Kitchen, who also have ventures in Port Adelaide, the CBD and Hyde Park.
The interior is lovely and modern, featuring marble-style tables, pendant lights and a stand-out, linear light wall.
You can see the reflection of the linear light wall in this picture, which makes for nice food photos! Hot beverages are available in a cup or mug size. There's also the usual non-caffeinated suspects, like juices, milkshakes, and the ever-popular matcha and black sesame lattes.
I ordered the
beef rendang eggs benny which came with two perfectly cooked poached eggs, slow cooked five hour beef ribs, wilted spinach, hollandaise sauce and a brioche bun to mop it all up. It was quite a heavy dish, so I'd recommend ordering a more refreshing drink to give the tastebuds a break.
Other dishes pictured here are the crispy pork belly kampua, wagyu beef meepok and an avocado haloumi focaccia.
Tweety Bird Cafe is located next to Aldi Plymptom, so you can treat yourself and still have time to get the groceries done. If you don't feel like leaving the house, they're also available on Doordash, Menulog and Deliveroo.
Tweety Bird Cafe is open Tuesday to Friday from 7.30 am to 4.30 pm, and weekends from 8 am to 4 pm.
