The Sunshine Coast Council have organised a fun, parent-supervised TurtleCare Hatchling Club in the September School Holidays and this time it’s especially for ages five to nine. There is a second TurtleCare Hatchling Club for ages 10 to 12 on the same day at 10.30am to 12.30pm. Please click the highlighted link above for more info.

Children in this age group, who are keen as mustard to learn more about turtles, are invited to come along to an extra special workshop, run by the TurtleCare Sunshine Coast volunteer team.

Important turtle-y ‘stuff’ -

Learn about the turtles who nest here on the coast - lifecycle, biology and fun facts!

Learn how to help save our turtles and explore their habitat.

Bring your curiosity and creativity.

This event will be outdoors and includes beach activities.

Places are limited to twenty participants.

All participants will require a caregiver who is required to stay but does not need a ticket. Other children may attend but will not be able to participate in age-specific activities.

Please DO NOT register children outside the five to nine-year age group range. Any bookings for children outside this age range will be cancelled and refunds processed.

PLEASE NOTE: THERE WILL BE NO LIVE TURTLES AT THIS EVENT!
