The sits on the shoulder of the Pacific Highway, opposite Turramurra shops. The space is part park, part community garden and no lookout (but perhaps it used to be one? I'm sure you would have been able to see quite far before the trees grew so tall).





The location is a little inaccessible, as there's nowhere to park in the immediate vicinity. As far as far as I could see, there isn't even a street along this side of the highway to leave your car in. I ended up parking over the other side of the road, in the car park behind the shops.



If you do make the effort to visit, it's almost certainly the community garden that will bring you. It has been here since 2010 and includes communal gardens and 24 private plots.



You can walk through these gardens at any time, but there is a working bee on every Saturday morning, from 9.00am to 12.00pm, that you can also visit. It's when some of the 50 members of the garden gather to work, learn, and enjoy morning tea.

Open days are held throughout the year too, a time for visitors to drop by with questions and buy some plants or produce.
