Don't miss one of South Australia's largest regional community festivals this January 2023. From Thursday the 26th to Saturday the 28th, the ever-popular
Tunarama Festival will bring Port Lincoln to life with participation events, live entertainment, music, cultural displays, a merchandise alley, fresh seafood and a variety of other local food and drinks.
There will be many events suited for all ages. The boat-building and sand sculpture competitions are great for families to get involved in. Children can also put their names down for the watermelon eating and salmon/prawn toss events. And of course, the world-famous tuna toss is back after two years! To register, please head to their website at
www.tunarama.net.
Although free, tickets are required to enter Eyre Square. These can easily be obtained
online for the day you're planning to attend. Thursday will begin with a breakfast, followed by the Citizen of the Year awards and the main stage kids program. Then, from 5pm onwards, you'll be able to enjoy live tunes by Pauly Backman and Titan Austin among others. On Friday and Saturday, many more Eyre Peninsula performers will grace the main stage. Do check out their
website for the full list of artists.
