Darling Harbour is home to many attractions, shops, restaurants, waterholes and it is home to a city oasis; Tumbalong Park.

Tumbalong Park is the perfect city escape within the city. It features lawns, gardens and walkways.

Sit on the wooden deck chairs under umbrellas or soak up the sun rays on the lawn as you watch the world go by. The Park is also a wonderful escape from the city's hustle and bustle and is perfect for taking an enjoying and relaxing lunch break.

Tumbalong Park also features ping pong tables/ table tennis, stationary exercise bikes, tables and chairs and plenty of room to roam around and enjoy the atmosphere, a small garden to admire and plenty of lined trees to enjoy a picnic under.

The parkland was designed using native Australian foliage, also incorporating fountains as an urban stream. The park also hosts an array of events throughout the year.

There are surrounding cafes, bars and restaurants to enjoy and the Darling Quarter Playground is just across from the Park as well as the Chinese Garden of Friendship just being a couple of minutes walk away.

Surround yourself with a bit of nature and enjoy a little quiet in the busy city life with this greenery.

The park is free and is open all year round, 24 hours, making it perfect to experience the park in both day and night perspectives.

Getting here:

The closest train station is Town Hall and there are many buses travelling down Market, Park, Druitt, Bathurst and Liverpool Streets. You can even catch a ferry to Darling Harbour by alighting at King Street Wharf or Pyrmont Bay Wharf.

Paddy's Market light rail is the closest station and there are also carparks nearby.
