I love the moment the lights dim, the curtain widens and the movie starts. Going to the cinema is one of life's great activities and should be enjoyed as much as possible.

Skip the kebab tonight
TubTim Thai Cuisine is a fairly new establishment in Glenroy. Glenroy and Broadmeadows are in need of more Thai establishments, as the ratio of kebab places to other food types has been quite out of balance for some time. Don't get me wrong, I love a kebab, but variety is the spice of life.
Pad Sweet Chilli Paste (Vegetables and Tofu)
Pad See - Ew (Vegetables & Tofu)
TubTim is not a vegetarian restaurant, but like most Thai restaurants, it offers a solid range of tasty options for those who enjoy their food tasty but without anything having to die in the process.
The restaurant is part of a strip of shops on busy Pascoe Vale Road. Thankfully, there is plenty of parking spots in several car parks behind the shops.
Roti Bread and Peanut Sauce
TubTim is a fairly standard Thai restaurant but in good ways. The food is full of flavour and the vegetables are fresh. The service is friendly and quick. The decor is stylish, making it feel a little more upmarket than the good valued prices would suggest.
The menu does not offer a wide variety, but all the classic dishes are there and the portions are going to fill you up. For those who love fish, it does appear from the menu that seafood is the chef's specialty.
The vegetarian food is mostly $12.80 (take away, slightly more for eating in) for the mains and the restaurant offers lunchtime specials of $12 for all their lunch dishes (meat included).
