Metallic and wooden cars and tractors are much more than just toys. Because they are made in metal or wood, these models tend to have many more details than models in plastic.

Before the European settlement, Nundah was inhabited by Aboriginal people from the Turrbul tribe. Today Nundah is a mix of a new residential area with multi-apartment buildings and areas with traditional Queenslander houses. The central part of the suburb is crossed by Sandgate Road, one of the major arterial roads of Brisbane's north.

Along the footpaths of Sandgate Road, there are sculptures with Aboriginal images. Also, there are colourful benches just under the old trees of the street.
