'Trust' is the second annual solo show by Cherie Durant at Aspire Gallery, Paddington. This exciting new exhibition will be held from 22 November to 2nd December 2017 and features a wonderful range of intricate and delicate works. Entry is FREE.[/b]Cherie Durant, a passionate Brisbane artist, produces predominantly small to medium works working in coloured pencil. Her subject matter comes from nature and ranges from feathers, pebbles, leaves and shells.

This year, Cherie has branched out and included birds and trees in some works. She states that her work is not following a trend or created to match someone's decor, rather it is intended to strike a chord, sending a genuine heartfelt message to the viewer.Cherie attaches messages on to the back of each artwork. These messages of hope, love and joy relate to the artwork and are a small reminder to "love ourselves a little more, to shine our light in the world, or just recharge our batteries with some 'me' time".

Cherie will be at the gallery every morning of the exhibition and is more than happy to have a chat should anyone like to pop in and meet her.The exhibition opens on Wednesday 22 November and an Opening Night event will be held on Friday 24 November, from 6.30pm to 8.00pm. The exhibition will continue until Saturday 2 December 2017.
