Eat all different truffle foods at this truffle festival
Truffle Melbourne was established in 2014 and each season, their winter events programme attracts dedicated foodies! It also attracts the curious to its more than fifty events programme, and it is now the largest truffle festival weekend outside Europe!

Their big 2018 free weekend festival is on 16th and 17th June this year at Queen Victoria Market and the dining programme is the best ever. Truffle Melbourne will also have a market stall at the Queen Victoria Markets from 21st June, 2018.

Last year, Truffle Melbourne became Melbourne's only CBD specialist fresh truffle and truffle products retailer. They had a Pop-Up and online store featuring fresh truffles and truffle products from Australia and around the world.

The 260 Collins Street Pop Up has already opened this yea, and the online store runs all year round. You can view all the online products at this link.

Because Melbourne loves truffles so much, this year there will also be some unique and affordable truffle products to enjoy at home. This new range is named after their truffle farm, Truffle Paddock, and is available in-store and online.

The founder, truffle grower and truffle judge, Nigel Wood says "our aim is to democratise and demystify the truffle - and to bring you unique winter food and wine experiences which celebrate Australia as the world's 4th largest truffle growing nation."

Nigel also writes a regular blog on growing truffles, working with chefs, truffle news from around the world, and using truffles products at home.

Truffles are an accessible seasonal luxury and the perfect flavour enhancer for other food and drinks. Everyone starts their truffle journey in a different place: you can have a great truffle pizza, a fantastic truffle meal at a restaurant, or you could experiment at home with fresh truffle in scrambled eggs!

During the winter, which is black truffle season, Truffle Melbourne join truffle growers across the country, Australia's best truffle chefs, and the finest food and beverage producers to celebrate the delights of the truffle.

Truffle Melbourne presents an event programme unlike any other and brings you the best fresh truffles and truffle products. There will also be lots of new truffle products you can buy to take home and devour!

Then there's the curated music programme and Truffle Chef demonstrations from Melbourne's best, hosted by 3RRR Foodie, Cam Smith.

And "Arrow" and "Spice" are Melbourne's favourite truffle dogs. You can share their hunting secrets under-cover in a stylish "A Shed Truffle Takeover"!

Some of the truffle foods on offer will be as follows:
Truffle raclette
6 different truffle pizzas

Lots of truffle burgers
Truffle gnocchi
A truffle Mac n Cheese donut
Gooey truffle cheeses
Truffle crepes
Truffle charcuterie
Truffle Mac'n'Cheese
Truffle cocktails from the sweetest perfumed Truffle Bar in town
Truffle beer and cider
Truffle Bloody Marys
Gluhwein and truffle bubbly

To take home, you can buy:

Fresh truffles from across the country
The world's best truffle products

Demo chefs appearing this year are:

Nick Mahlook (The Atlantic)
Dani Valent (Writer, Eater, Traveller & Cook)
Maria Kabal (Anada)
Matt Jordan (Bomba Bar)

This is going to be a tremendous event, so mark the date down, and make sure you come to this free event this year!
