Cocktails on Wheels
The people on the bus say more gin, please! Every Sunday, the craftsman of the
Brisbane Gin Distillery deliver their concoctions to the community.
The slings gin in a converted bus at Riverside Markets in the City Botanic Gardens. The 1974 Atlantean double-decker bus has been lovingly recreated into a mobile bar with generous seating and a self-contained bar.
There are free spirits tastings on hand for the gin newbs, while gin aficionados can enjoy sample flights and handcrafted cocktails. There are six different cocktails available, and the flights are arranged in sweet, smoky or savoury configurations.
The bus contains a downstairs section with booth seats, as well as an upstairs platform with a pop-up roof. You make an online booking for Sundays
here .
The True Spirit bus can also be hired and brought to your chosen location for work events, weddings and birthdays. For more information, or to make a booking, email

Brisbane Distillery Company was founded in 2019 by Master Distiller Jon Atherton. When COVID-19 threatened to closedown Brisbane's first gin distillery, their unique position allowed for a quick pivot to producing hand sanitiser during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The distillery continues to make hand sanitiser for charities, schools, government, and local businesses.
