The highly anticipated True History of the Kelly Gang is having a limited theatrical release on 9 January before it can be viewed on the digital streaming service Stan Australia on 26 January, 2020.

You'll be able to attend a screening at the historical Sun Theatre in Yarraville. Other selected cinemas are Classic, Lido, Cameo, Thornbury Picture House and Ballarat's Regent Cinemas.

True History of the Kelly Gang is an epic, fictionalised biography of the infamous bushranger Ned Kelly. It will track Kelly from his younger days until his death.


Inspired by Peter Carey's Man Booker prize winning novel of the same name. Directed by Justin Kurzel (Snowtown). Featuring a cast of award-winning Australian and international stars from George MacKay, Essie Davis, Nicholas Hoult, Orlando Schwerdt, Thomasin McKenzie, Sean Keenan, Earl Cave, Charlie Hunnam and Russell Crowe.
