My husband and I recently moved west to Perth. We are excited to explore all this gorgeous city and state have to offer. As I discover things I shall share them with you. If you like an article "heart" it and subscribe to see more.
Belly laughs from start to finish
The accolades are coming thick and fast for Troy Hawke who boasts sell-out shows at Edinburgh Fringe and last year in his debut at Perth Fringe. He has won Best Comedy weekly awards at Fringe World Perth in 2019 and again this year. I could imagine Troy Hawke on a bigger stage, filling an auditorium with enthusiastic fans and I'd be there in the front row (or maybe I'd be wise to pick a more discreet seat if I didn't want to be caught up in the show).
In his latest show Tiles of the Unexpected at the Brass Monkey, Troy had the room belly laughing within seconds with his saucy wiggle of the hips, comical facial expressions and his hilarious interactions with audience members.
Troy reveals the subliminal messages and mind controlling tactics used to create a conspiracy that is playing out to manipulate us all, with the ultimate goal of making Kanye West the President of the United States. It may not seem obvious but Troy has used his scrabble based investigation skills to meticulously investigate the hidden links between Swedish furniture giant IKEA and the CIA. When the show finished there was a buzz in the air as people turned to each other comparing notes on how much they had enjoyed the show.
I can highly recommend Troy Hawke's shows and if he books the Perth Concert Hall next year I'll be there. Grab your tickets now, before his show Troy Hawke: Tiles of the Unexpected finishes on Feb 16th.
