Troupe Viva serves to perform classical and contemporary music to enlighten and entertain audiences of all ages. They will be performing at the beautiful Grand Hall of Mosman Art Gallery and Community Centre on April 11 at 4pm.

Troupe Viva consists of Kim Pickering-Jones (former Semi Finalist Australia's Got Talent), Xiaoming Lan, Elizabeth Hylton, Catherine Crowley, Lyndall Rees and Emily Courtright. Each member of Troupe Viva has extensive vocal training and has performance experience. They are extremely passionate individuals whose qualifications are not limited to the ones listed below:

Xiaoming (group director) has performed over 1,000 concerts with Opera Australia before creating Troupe Viva

Kim has performed in large venues like the Sydney Football Stadium

Kim has also notable achievements in Australian's Got Talent

Elizabeth graduated from the Australian Institute of Music and has had opportunities to work with The Sydney Welsh Choir and The Ten Sopranos. Elizabeth has previously appeared with Julie Anthony, Barry Crocker, Jackie Love, David Campbell, Christine Anu and Judi Conelli.

Catherine has over 20 years experience in performing and was offered a Ambassadorial Scholarship for a year in London with coaches from Covent Garden's and the English National Opera.

Lyndall is one of the founding members of Blue Mountains - based "Opera Events". She has sung many principal operatic roles, singing the role of Susanna in The Marriage of Figaro in the Cathedral Cave at Jenolan Caves, the first full opera performed in a cave in the world.

Emily is a graduate of The University of New York State, Potsdam, in Vocal and Instrumental Education and has accompanied many singers in Australia and in the United States of America.

The beauty of Mosman

In addition to the wonderful performance that is expected from Troupe Viva, the concert will benefit both UNICEF Australia and The Alannah and Madeline Foundation.
