With spectacular views of the whole of Bondi Beach, an amazing sumptuous menu and perfectly attentive friendly staff there is almost nothing to fault Trio Bondi on.
It has become a regular favourite of mine in Bondi and somewhere where I take people who are visiting the area or just somewhere for an excellent feed.
The menu is a beautiful combination of decadence and clean simple flavours. My personal favourite is the aptly named "Boss Eggs" which is perfectly (soft with feta mixed in) cooked scrambled eggs with prosciutto, avocado and fresh bread. But wait - with truffle oil drizzle generously over the top. It is garnished with flat leaf parsley and lemon. Every element which is on the plate deserves to be there and works perfectly together. A beautiful combination of flavours; with the woody earthy truffle oil, the nutty oily avocado, salty sweetness of the prosciutto and the creamy eggs with the feta.
The waiters are attentive enough to provide flawless service without becoming intrusive. They keep track of who has ordered what and are pre-emptive in your needs, whether it be table water (ice-cold with mint), a napkin or a dropped fork.
The only thing that could possibly be considered a flaw would be the price point with breakfast, two coffees and a fresh juice for two totalling $70-$80, but in my opinion worth every cent.
