Event:
An interactive puppet show based on the tale of Pinocchio

Trinket the Robot by Little Wing Puppets is an acclaimed solo puppet show coming to Knox Community Arts Centre these school holidays.

Suitable for ages 4 and over, Trinket the Robot is based on the classic tale of Pinnochio and explores a range of emotions and offers strategies to help children understand different feelings.

Trinket the Robot follows the story of an inventor, Dr. Doovalacky, who sets out to build a robot who will have the ability to learn new things, with the help of his assistant, Gizmo, a green caterpillar.

Trinket the Robot comes to life but he soon wants more. He wants to know what it is to be human; he wants to become "real."

The children must help Trinket learn about the world but as Trinket gains knowledge, Dr. Doovalacky finds himself losing control of his creation. Trinket learns that to become human is to not only feel wonder and joy, but also to know anger and fear, and the sadness of saying goodbye to someone when you're not ready to.

This interactive puppet show is suitable for pre-school and primary school-aged children and their families.

"It was good to see the Robot cry. Sometimes I cry too. It was good when the Robot got sad and then got happy again. It makes me feel like when I get sad, I can get happy again too." 4 year old, Seymour.

Trinket the Robot will play at Knox Community Arts Centre for one show only on Thursday 24 January 2019, 11am.

Tickets are priced Adult $15, Child $12 and Family (4 People) $45. Secure your tickets today at www.knox.vic.gov.au/schoolholidays
