Need another reason to lace up your running shoes this year? Grab your sisters, mothers, daughters and aunts and head to Albert Park for a triathlon or Fun Run - for a fantastic cause.

Triathlon Pink and the Brooks Fun Run Pink are all-female triathlon and running events which raise money for charities who support breast cancer advocacy, research and support.

Begun in 2006, Triathlon Pink and the Brooks Fun Run pink have raised over one million dollars for breast cancer charities. Their target in 2014 is $250,000 - perhaps you can help?

The Melbourne event will be held on January 26th, and this year there will be a bike give-away, with anyone raising over $500 eligible to go onto the draw. All entrants will receive a t-shirt, cap and participation medal.

The adult entry fee is $35, making it one of the cheaper events this year. There are four triathlon distances to choose from, and three fun run distances, as well as events for kids.
