Triathlon Pink Event - 2014/1015



Triathlons have made it a long way since the 1980's, and for many it can still be a little daunting. However, Triathlon is a sport you can enjoy with friends and increase your fitness level at the same time. I would call that two for the price of one!

One of the things that can really put someone off from trying the sport is the distance one has to complete. However, with events such as Triathlon Pink , you don't have to complete an 'Iron Man' distance to experience a triathlon. From a Pink Kids Course to the Ultra Course, there is distance for everyone.



While Ramsay Health Care Triathlon Pink focused its fundraising towards breast cancer, it is an event which everyone can partake in, including men. It is, however, required that you wear pink on the day.

The focus of Triathlon Pink is to raise funds for a range of breast cancer charities and currently they have raised over $1.5 million.

There will be an event in all major cities around Australia:

**Gold Coast - 5 Oct 2014
Sydney - 12th October 2014
Perth - 9th November 2014
Sunshine Coast - 30th Nov 2014
Melbourne - 25th January 2015
Brisbane - 15th Feb 2015
Sydney - 22nd Mar 2015**

There are also courses for kids, which means that this is an event that can be enjoyed by the whole family. Plus, if you are not a fan of swimming, then you can choose from the Brooks Fun Run Option.
