Just under an hour's drive from Geelong is a new Tree Adventure Park located in south-east Victoria near Colac - Otway region. We came from Melbourne so a short stop in Geelong for a quick bite to eat with the kids was a great way to break up the 2-hour drive.

We arrived 20 minutes before our scheduled 1pm session. This allows time for going through the safety procedures, the outdoor practice obstacle course and getting geared up with safety harness and headgear! The kids were super excited and couldn't wait to get out onto the obstacle courses. There are 2 courses to choose from for kids aged 4-7 years of age. The yellow course consists of 22 challenges with 4 flying foxes up to 3 meters off the ground.

There are also green, blue, red and black courses to choose from for older kids aged 8-12 years and adults of all ages, whether you are a thrill seeker or looking for a fun family day out Tree Adventure Park has something for everyone!

All courses are self-guided, children under 7 need to have an adult to supervise from the ground. Entry is free for the adult that is supervising. As you are secured and attached at all times, the challenges are fun and take you through breathtaking native forest, climbing up through the treetops!

After completing the 2 obstacle courses, Kye, Max and Trixie were so confident they wanted to do it all over again, fighting over who would go first!

The session runs for 2 hours, which ensures adults and kids alike get plenty of time to explore all the obstacles. It's exhilarating and fun, getting outdoors away from mobile devices and out playing real life adventure games!
