Treehouse is one of the newest play centres in Perth and is located in Bibra Lake. This is a play centre with a difference – a major one being that the café area for the adults seems bigger than the actual play area for the children. However, the play areas are deceiving large and do pack a punch. With many years experience of visiting play centres in and around Perth, this one is truly entertaining for kids of all ages.
As with most play centres, there is a dedicated area for the under 5s. This area is sectioned off and contains all the regular play equipment like ball pits, climbing areas, tunnels and slides. Additional to that, there is a trampoline and a swing so that the little ones can play on the same things as the big kids but in the safety of their own area. There are also cars that the kids can ride around on in their play section as well as through the café area. It is multi-level, so one-on-one parental supervision is necessary.
The revolving palm tree swing was a huge hit with the older kids as they have never seen that anywhere else. As with the under 5s there are the regular offerings but there are also swings, a trampoline, a challenging elastic net climb, tree houses perched up high, very slippery 3 seater slides and a set of cannons where you can aim at passers by. Towards the back there is a small soccer/basketball play area where the more energetic kids can have a bit of a run.
There are 4 themed party rooms in plain sight of the café area which means any extra grown up guests can be part of the party without being 'in' it. All the rooms are painted and decorated beautifully and can hold up to 25 kids with one room being able to hold a maximum of 40 kids. Party prices are very reasonable, are inclusive of food and drink and only require a minimum of 8 children.
For the adults there is a huge coffee shop and sitting area. The café offers a wide selection of hot and cold foods as well as a selection of healthy options. Bring a book or paper as the kids will be having a great time and you may be there for a long while.
