The Treefern Potters is a diverse group of talented ceramic artists with its origins in the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges. This is a non-profit craft group with a passion for pottery! According to Deanna Roberts, one of the artists, it's a healthy addiction to clay.

The Treefern Potters is having an exhibition and sale on Saturday, April 18. Artists and art lovers alike should put this on top of their to see list.

The Ferntree Gully Community Arts Centre will be packed with a huge display of pottery and ceramics including wheel work, handbuilding and sculpture. There are traditional, contemporary, abstract, functional, decorative and designer pieces. In other words all things fun, practical, joyous, eclectic, practical, useful and playful. This is the ideal time to purchase a unique gift or select a gift for yourself!



Allow plenty of time because this is much more than just a local pottery group exhibition. There will be lots to do including demonstrations on the wheel, opportunities for kids to play with clay and the chance to talk to the talented artists, and as if that's not enough they usually have a few surprises up their sleeves like raffle prizes.
