Farm stay with a difference
Nestled between Walpole and Denmark, Tree Elle Retreat is the perfect place to relax and a great base to explore the region. Hidden from the highway, follow the long driveway and Tree Elle slowly reveals its secrets. There are three bright, airy loft-houses to choose from, featuring 3 bedrooms (two in the loft) as well as two downstairs bathrooms. The large loft windows evoke instant relaxation.

Lofthouse #2

Downstairs, sliding doors lead directly onto the rear veranda, where you can BBQ overlooking the paddock view (with some very friendly sheep visiting intermittently). The final accommodation option at Tree Elle is the luxurious 'Barnhouse' a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom two storey house set at the end of the driveway in the garden.

Light filled interior

Happily, you can pack light because the accommodation includes a fully appointed kitchen and breakfast supplies of farm fresh eggs, milk, butter, cereal, home-baked bread mix, tea, coffee and basic pantry supplies. There's even your own bread machine because what's country living without freshly baked bread? Inbetween sightseeing we made time to make scones, oat slice, bread, pancakes and a frittata with fresh eggs. Board games are another thoughtful addition and although there's a TV and DVD library to choose from thankfully screen time was virtually non-existent.

Once you've torn yourself away from your accommodation there's more to see... The garden is like nothing else, from the birch trees to formal hedges, fruit trees and a veggie patch, rolling lawns, a coffee nook… each garden 'room' rolls into another. The garden here possesses an almost other-worldly beauty and it's hard not to be moved by the sheer beauty of the place!

Amazing garden

There is enough space and separation in the sizeable garden for a game of chess, hide and seek or same kids frolicking and chasey on the lawn to co-exist with spots for quiet contemplation. The garden has magnetism so it's easy to see why this is a favoured setting for weddings and events.

A variety of animals to be moved and fed
