Local artisans, makers, growers and producer markets are flourishing like flowers in Springtime. And it's no surprise. Not knowing what you'll find, then stumbling upon something beautiful and unique is always a thrill.

The popularity of these markets means increasing supply, and for the lucky people around the Surrey Hills area, the Treasures and Tastes Markets are quickly gaining momentum. Held once a month at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church on the corner Union Road & Montrose Street, Surrey Hills, you will find everything from plants to gifts and much much more.

Previous markets have offered over 40 indoor stallholders offering a range as diverse as wine and fresh produce, clothing and fashion accessories, stationery, health and beauty products, toys, gifts and decorator items for your home and lots more. And being mostly indoors, the weather doesn't impact on this market at all.

The Treasures and Tastes Market boasts the enchantingly named, Treasures Café for something to eat, or drop by the courtyard BBQ for a bacon and egg roll.

Admission to the Treasures and Tastes Market is free and the next market is scheduled for Saturday 16th July from 9am to 1pm. From then markets will be held on Saturday 20th August, 17th September, 15th October, 19th November and 17th December 2016.

There is surrounding street parking and the Holy Trinity Anglican Church is within walking distance of the main street shops along Union Road and the Surrey Hills train station.
