Life is about the journey - some roads are not always what they seem but you sure learn a great deal from them!
Coding is most definitely a skill that will be required for the future. It is a skill that is needed now and is even used in schools.

These holidays, give your child the leading edge by attending a BeeBot Workshop. No coding or literacy skills are needed.

Kids will work in pairs to create a 'snakes and ladders' game and design a variety of obstacle courses on paper. They will then program the BeeBot with simple commands so that it can navigate around the obstacles. Kids will also be presented with several challenges to improve their problem-solving skills.

This event will take place at the Joondalup Public Library on 16 January from 11:00 am to 12 noon. There is a minimum of 5 participants for this workshop to continue.

Ticket per child is $27.76 which includes booking fees and material to use on the day. There are some free parking spaces outside of the library.
