When was the last time you went on a treasure hunt?

Treasure Hunting
Go Treasure Hunting this Weekend

When we were kids we did it a lot; we went out and collected shiny bits of glass that looked like diamond. Remember? Now as we grow up the treasures are changing into things we need and mostly we have to pay with plastic dollars to get what we need in exchange.

[ADVERT]Here is an idea how to spent your next weekend.

Take your local newspaper and have a look under the section Garage Sales. You can expect a bundle assortment of everything you need or always wanted like that extra freezer or the dryer for winter time, books, furniture, toys - imagine it and you will find it.
You can find real treasures because garage sales are run by local people who want to move to other states or overseas and often need to say goodbye to many of their pre-loved possessions.

So keep an eye out on those garage sales in your suburb. It's fun shopping for the whole family, I promise!.

Here are some tips on how your treasure hunting trip becomes even more successful:

1. To get the best treasures get up early. Most Garage Sales start between 7am and 8.00 am

2. If you seek special items ask the host, he may have what you're looking for.

3. Bring change in $5, $10 or $20 notes.

4. Drive with a empty car - you may need the space.
