Located on Nepean Highway, just opposite the Carrum Station Trax 627 is a very modern cafe restaurant, that has been open for around a year. During the summer the place is very busy with beach goers and locals popping in for meals during both the day and evening.
We had read on their website that there were baked beans on the menu however they weren't to be found when we perused the menu on arrival, so we both made different choices but weren't disappointed. The coffee is great and worth stopping alone if you don't have time for a meal.
The place is light and bright, with a large screen TV running in the background playing music videos. The place has a modern pub feel about it which is welcoming to one and all, including children who have a children's menu to choose from.
There is a variety of seating including booths, and individual tables, tables suitable for groups and alfresco dinning for those so inclined. According to the billboard on the wall they will be starting Parma nights on Monday, when we asked the waitress when, she thought in about 2 weeks time - another alternative to meeting friends after work at a local pub and for $15.00 it sounds like very good value.
