This film screens in the lead-up to TFF and is a unique film comprising 11 short movies. In now , the intimate stories of these inspirational young activists are intertwined with interviews with some of the world's leading experts and most iconic figures, as well as a broad showcase of real solutions to the challenges facing our planet.

It looks like our youth are taking the charge in stressing that Earth Comes First . In CitizenKid, four Canadian youth activists, Hannah Alper, Sophia Mathur, Charlene Rocha and Cooper Price set out to show how people can change the world no matter their age. CitizenKid , four Canadian youth activists, Hannah Alper, Sophia Mathur, Charlene Rocha and Cooper Price set out to show how people can change the world no matter their age. Now it's up to us adults to follow suit and walk away from the Festival inspired to take part in creating the world we want to live in. With so much to choose from at the Festival, there's no doubt you'll find a film or 30 that speaks to your heart.

In a year of deep pause and great resets, Transitions Film Festival's program celebrates the things we love and inspires us to fight for the future we want. Covering a huge range of mind-expanding themes including the wonder of nature, environmental activism, social and economic justice, ethical business, and creative innovation, this year's Festival will change the way you look at the world.

Screening almost simultaneously, you'll find the National Sustainable Festival with lots of events covering lots of different campaigns, stories and movements. It goes hand and hand with TFF in that it focuses on the change-makers leading the way in the uptake of sustainable living and addressing our climate emergency.
