The Tranquility Fair is an anual event held on the first Saturday of each year in the Ocean Grove Park.

The Tranquility Fair has a range of activities for the whole family and for just $3 for adults (children under 12 'just a smile') entry with proceeds going to upgrading local facilities, is a great and affordable day out for all.



For adults there is a range of live entertainment, in 2013 featuring live acts such as Katy Nethercote, Princess Planet and SkaBang. The fair also has over 25 food and wine stalls to satisfy your hunger needs and for a nice glass of wine as you relax and watch the kids play. There's something for everyone, with ice cream stalls, vegetarian stalls and a BBQ, as well as all the other stalls you'd expect to find at a fair.

The kids aren't forgotten either, with camel rides, animal farm, face painting, jumping castle and plenty more, you're sure to find something for your kids! If these ideas aren't for you, there's also kids arts and craft, a merry-go-round and even kite making!



If none of this appeals to you, there's plenty more on offer with jewellery stalls, clothes stalls, model cars and pet stalls along with garden sculptures and many more for your retail therapy however if you're after a different type of therapy the fair also has plenty of chinese massage, mediation, earth medicine, acupuncture and natural body healing stalls to choose from!

With very limited parking, especially over the summer period, walking is a great alternative to ensure you don't waste any time. Ocean Grove Park is also just a short walk away from the main shopping centre and the beach if you're looking to kill time before or after the event.

The gates open at 10pm and the fun continues until 4pm in the afternoon. Get in early to ensure you beat the rush of locals and tourists, as each year the fair grows and grows and is rapidly increasing in popularity and publicity.
