Not so trashy
Returning from the Tip Shop today I noticed something going on in Mortimer Rd Archerfield. There was a cute pink caravan and 2 donkeys and lots of lovelies in Rockabilly clothing. So, naturally I stopped to take a peek. I'm so glad I did.

This pink caravan caught my eye.

Hmm, I recognize that van.

There were market stalls set up in a warehouse. Now I won't get you excited by telling you of all the cool things for sale - because ...it was a one off day. Awwww.

What a shame it's not a regular event.

But it is the permanent home of Mimsy and Trailer Trash Tattoos. Unlike the (very few) other tattoo parlours I've seen this one is "cute as". If you want a huge range of unique and original vintage/feminine pictures to choose from, this is the place to go.

Some of Mimsy's designs.

It was so busy I didn't get a chance to talk to Mimsy but I was told some of her designs are being used on T-shirts and there seemed to be posters for sale.

I'd never thought of a Tattoo place as 'cute' till now.

The waiting room is decorated in a whimsical style. I saw lots of little caravans for one thing, which delighted me as I grew up holidaying in plywood caravans built by my Grandad.

Now I'm inspired to start a caravan collection.

Trailer Trash Tattoo is situated on a small road that runs parallel to Mortimer Road, just beside the Airport Cafe at the southern end of the Archerfield Airport.

Hair accessories for sale and workshops available. The next one is 30th March.

Vicky from Snippets of Time, who gave me the grand tour, specialises in creating glamour for events, parties or photoshoots. She can create a glamourous look for you or you can attend one of her workshops and learn step by step how to achieve The Look. A photo shoot is included in the workshop. She was a great advertisement for her classes as she looked spectacular.

Her Facebook page had dozens of wonderful photos.
