[ADVERT] is located on the corner of Trafalgar Place and Waterloo Road. It's a great local playground with its traditional play equipment, complete with swings, a slippery dip, flying fox, and a wooden bridge. All that's missing is the naughts and crosses game.

The trees around this equipment mean kids can play in the shade, while nearby seats mean parents can sit and watch them. There is also an open grassy area, but it may be a little too sloped to play any ball games.

would probably be more popular if it wasn't located right next to Waterloo Park, which is much bigger and also has its own play equipment, along with an oval and other features.

When I visited, Waterloo Park was relatively busy, while seemed to be just used as a walkway between Waterloo Road and the shops on the other side. But I guess if Waterloo Park gets too busy, it's something to keep in mind.
