This Autumn, you are invited to experience a half day meditation Retreat with experienced meditation teacher Lars Andersson, who has received instruction from several masters of recognised Eastern Meditation Traditions in India and Japan.
Held in the convenient location of Surya House Hall, Hamilton, this enlightening and interactive half-day retreat is designed for beginners and experienced meditators alike and will be held on Saturday 2nd April 2016, from 12:30pm to 4:30 pm.
The curriculum is based on 30 years of practice and research, combining profound traditional mindfulness meditation techniques, originating primarily from the ancient practices of Zen, Vipassana and Advaita (non-duality).
Under Lars' guidance, participants will be introduced to an easy-to-follow formula that anyone can learn and continue to practice at home daily. With regular practice, participants will be able to support the stillness of the mind, allowing them to experience a deep sense of joy, fulfilment and peace.
Lars is the director of Integrating Awareness, a practice offering services and programs, specific to Counselling, Meaningful Life Coaching, Wellness, and Psychotherapy. He has pursued and attained academic qualifications from both Stockholm and Australian universities. His diverse qualifications and lifelong learning experiences as an Educator (Physics and Mathematics), Engineering, Meditation Teaching, Relationship Counsellor, Meaningful Life Coach, NLP practitioner, Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist, means he has a wealth of insight and experience to share within his programs.
Lars is now offering the Integrating Awareness Meditation Programs after a friend, who suffered a brain injury approached him for support in mindfulness meditation, to help with their recovery. This inspired him to again offer these programs to everyone as the latest scientific research and evidence overwhelmingly supports the practices of meditation to enrich one's life, health and wellbeing.
His vision is to share this with more people, so that we can all be guided towards a life of wellness and happiness.
