The streets of Armadale will once again be filled with Christmas cheer as the annual Toy Parade makes its way down the streets of the city, heading down to the grassy parklands at Memorial Park for this year's singing of the Christmas carols.
On Sunday 7 December, be sure to gather the family, pack the picnic rug, grab some dinner and head to Memorial Park for an evening of Christmas festivities. This smoke and alcohol free event full of fun and excitement kicks off at 6.30pm with a treat for the littlies as the Toy Parade wanders through Jull Street Mall.
The toys will lead the special guest, Santa down the mall while interacting with the children along the way. Be sure to come early to get prime position and feel free to bring your camera to take some pictures of your children with the toys and Santa as they pass.
At Memorial Park, thousands are expected to turn out to enjoy the performances by local professionals and community talents, finishing off with singing of the carols in a collective voice.
LED candles will be available for a gold coin donation and light refreshments will be available for purchase. This free annual tradition is once again expected to be popular so get there early ready to celebrate the fun and laughter of the Christmas season.
