Clear your calendars and get ready for the Town of Victoria Park's Arts Season which kicks off on 1 April, celebrating local and Western Australian artists.
Now in its third year, the month-long program showcases a whirlwind of activities, exhibitions, projects and initiatives, with more than 40 events throughout the Town covering all areas of the arts.
This year's program is jam-packed with events to suit people of all ages, including classical music concerts, school holiday workshops for children and outdoor movies. These events are a great way for parents to keep their children busy and engaged during the school holidays!
There will also be a selection of art exhibitions held throughout the Town during April, including an ambitious, panoramic video work by New Zealand artist Lisa Reihana at John Curtin Gallery, and a number of local art exhibitions in a comprehensive calendar of events at the Victoria Park Centre for the Arts.
There is also one Crown event, Bjorn Again, with musical excellence, authentic voices, original costumes and an energetic stage performance - you will be out of your seat dancing and singing from the very first song!
