Celebrate Australia Day at the fantastic 10th annual Australia Day Concert and Fireworks celebrations. This event will be held at Ashfield Reserve, between 5pm and 9pm.


Proudly brought to you by the Town of Bassendean , this annual Australia Day event is great fun for the whole family, a real community event with something for everyone to enjoy.

There will be loads of free entertainment and activities including live music on stage, carnival rides, stilt-walkers, performance painting, food stalls and much, much more.

Who doesn't love fireworks? One of the most anticipated parts of the day will be the Fireworks Spectacular. The night sky will light up in an breath-taking fireworks display starting at 8pm.

Get ready of some awesome live on-stage performances by two of Perths most popular groups. Rock and Soul band Boom! Bap! Pow! and pop/rock duo Room for Reason deliver entertaining and energy packed performances that will soon have the crowd in a celebration mood.

Enjoy watching the live performance painting emerge. Artist and performer Phil Doncon offers a unique style and mix of painting and performance art as he creates a masterpiece on a a huge ten metre wide canvas.

Austalia Day Ambassador and media personality, Lisa Fernandez , will be on hand to regale the audience with stories of her families Australia Day experiences.

So, bring the family down to Ashfield Reserve for a fun filled Australia Day in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. There will be some food and refreshments available to purchase at the event or if you prefer you can bring along a picnic.

This family-friendly Australia Day Concert and Fireworks Display is a community event and everyone is welcome to attend.
