Celebrate Australia Day with the annual Town of Bassendean's Australia Day Celebrations and spectacular fireworks display on Monday 26th January 2015.

This fantastic family-friendly event will commence at 5pm and will feature a great line-up of entertainment and fun activities for all to enjoy.

Throughout the evening event-goers can view live music performances from the likes of Perth's 'folk and roll' darlings, Timothy Nelson and the Infidels, and up and coming indie rock band, Tired Lion.

Acting as MC for the evening is comedian 'Famous Sharron' and Radio Station 98.5FM will broadcast live from the event, producing yet another impressive soundtrack to accompany the fireworks display at 8.00pm.

Event-goers can bring a picnic or purchase food and drinks from the many food trucks on offer.

Parking is strictly limited and attendees are encouraged to walk, ride, catch a bus or train, or car pool to the event. Cyclists can park their bikes in the free secure on site 'Bicycle Valet'.

This event is proudly supported by Lotterywest, 98.5 Sonshine FM, and the Eastern Reporter.

Keep up to date with all the latest by visiting or like the Town's Arts & Events page on Facebook. For more information on this event, please phone 9377 8000.
