Field Libraries features works recently acquired by Town Hall Gallery by Emily Floyd. Emily is a Melbourne artist who has had exhibitions all over Australia, including the National Gallery of Australia and the National Gallery of Victoria. She is known for her bold and colourful creations: 'text-based sculptures and pedagogically-inspired works which combine formal concerns with an interest in the legacies of modernism'.

Emily Floyd works across several techniques and spheres of arts, and Town Hall Gallery is presenting some of her prints and sculptures.

Another exhibition worth mentioning is Shape of the Life-World. Several artists present their view of the world as they see it and try to make sense of it.

The third exhibition is Form of Play. In this instance the name speaks for itself. This exhibition demonstrates three artists' ideas on playfulness, sports, games, teamwork, interaction and learning.

All exhibitions are free. Find some time to spend at the exhibition. Bring your friends or children. Enjoy
