Kingston awaits your arrival
Only about 250 kilometres from Toronto, Kingston is the perfect getaway for either a day trip, over the long weekend or during school holidays. Once you're there, you can relax and enjoy some of its attractions.

1. Wolfe Island

Wolfe Island is just a 20-minute ferry ride away. There you will find the famous Wolfe Island Bakery serving fresh butter tarts.

2. Kingston Waterfront

Take a leisurely stroll along the waterfront trail, and don't forget your camera while you pose as the missing "I".

3. Kingston City Hall

A self-guided tour of its City Hall is available. And, as an Australian, I was amazed to learn that Kingston's first female mayor is born in Australia!

4. Thousand Islands

Board the Kingston 1000 Islands Cruises for a wonderful experience of the small cottage islands of the Admiralty group. I really think that you have to see them to believe they exist.

5. Sally's Roti Shop

Sally's Roti Shop serves up reasonably-priced authentic Caribbean cuisine in downtown Kingston. A must-try while you're there.
