Look forward to old and new stallholders, great local music and new hours at the Torquay Cowrie Market on Sunday 15 September 2024 from 9am-2pm at Torquay Foreshore Play Park, The Esplanade/Elephant Walk, Torquay. A not-for-profit community market run by Surf Coast Arts Inc on the 3rd Sunday of the month from September through to April, look forward to homegrown and made, local art, music and more. With a beautiful backdrop and a coastal vibe, it's a great day out for one and all with a music lineup on the south and north stages, and an expansive area where the kids can run free and enjoy some playtime while chomping down on some tasty delights, being serenaded by the musicians. Rather idyllic.

The market has been running for over 26 years and has grown immensely, proudly supporting many local artists and small businesses. It has now become one of the biggest art and craft markets in the area and draws a regular large crowd. It's a place where you might even encounter a special popup activity or performance. Torquay Cowrie Market aims to be a single-use plastic-free event. Please bring your own reusable cups, bottles and bags. We, the collective us, want to keep our beautiful foreshore and beach clean.
