You can now dance with dinosaurs
Everyone has danced with dinosaurs before. But if you want more, then you will want to get to the Torchlight Dinosaur Disco. If you haven't seen Night at the Museum, you won't know that these nights are where the exhibits come to life and dance with you. Ok, maybe that doesn't happen. But what will happen is you will get the chance to see a heap of cool dinosaur fossils and skeletons before getting out onto the dance floor and showing off your best moves. The WA Museum Boola Bardip plays host to the best and most Jurassic disco out there.
You will arrive at the museum before it closes, and take a torchlight tour of the amazing sights of the dinosaurs. You will also be able to take part in some other dino activities. After that, you get dinner under Otto, the big blue whale. Finally, a silent disco, where you can dance and rave until they kick you out.
While you are there, there will be roving entertainers. You will also learn about palaeontologists and their work. You will learn all about the exhibits and what happened to the dinosaurs. For dinner, you have a choice of a few different meals. The kids' meals are basically the same but smaller versions, for the same price.
This event is only on two nights this year. One is coming up soon and the other will be on later in the year. In July, you will have the chance to party with the dinosaurs on the 15th. And if you miss out, you will get the chance to have another go on October 7th. Tickets are $55 per person, even for kids. However, this does cover the entrance fee to the museum, the disco and dinner. If you love dinosaurs or discos, then you will love to dance with the T-Rex. Party on with a roar!
