Spice up a driving range with point scoring, competition, and food and drinks to create a great place to hang out with family or friends. Topgolf in Scottsdale offers more than 100 bays for anyone to enjoy, from beginners to golf pros. Each bay can accommodate up to six players and you can play as long as you like for an hourly rate.



The balls have microchips and special technology tracks your ball from the moment you hit it. There are several large round baskets in the ground at various distances. If your ball falls into one of the baskets, you earn points based on how close it is to the center of the circle and how far from the bays. Choose one of the women's or men's clubs provided at each bay and give it a swing. You can also bring your own clubs if you prefer. You may try to hit it as far as you can or specifically aim for one of the baskets. There are several game options based on how your party wants to enjoy the day.


While waiting for your turn to take a swing, peruse the variety of food and drink options on the menu. You can order a cocktail, glass of wine, or a bucket of beer. There are many sharable appetizers. My family's favorites are the pretzel bites and fried mac and cheese bites. The burgers and salads are also great if you need a little more sustenance for your game. Don't pass up the injectable donut holes for dessert. They come with three syringes full of chocolate, vanilla, or strawberry filling.


Topgolf also offers a spacious bar on the entrance level and an open-air lounge on the third floor. You enjoy playing corn hole while you wait for your bay or after your game if you are still debating who played best that day.
