There are many really good workshops to attend in Perth and this list is seven different ones that are on South of the River only.
[b]COLOUR IT[/b]
This is a FREE workshop organised by The City of South Perth.
You will let your inner artist shine when you put some colour to the City's Find Me colouring in boards.
This is part of the Find Me series of activities in the City and will be on daily from 9th November 2018.

[b]ANIMAL CARE IN THE CITY OF SOUTH PERTH[/b]
Address: South Perth Library, Cnr Sandgate St & South Terrace, South Perth
Date: 15th November, from 10.30 am to 11.30 am
Here the Animal Care Officers and Rangers from the City of South Perth will explain what their jobs entail and the services they offer to residents.
Some of the things you will learn about include:
The City offers cat boarding
What happens after a lost dog is reported
Information about rangers and snakes
How many dogs you are allowed in your home
You will find out these and much more at this talk. You can ask your animal care questions also and have them answered by this team of experts.
Bring your own cup and/or water bottle, as tea, coffee and cold filtered water will be available.

[b]DIY SKINCARE WORKSHOP[/b]
Address: The Wetlands Centre Cockburn, in Bibra Lake
Date: Sunday 25th November, from 10.00 am to 11.00 am
Cost: $5.00
Taking this class will be waste-wise expert, Lindsay Miles of Treading My Own Path and Lindsay will teach you how to look after your skin the natural way!
This is a one hour workshop which introduces the idea of homemade cosmetics as a natural, eco-friendly and cost-effective alternative to buying your products. There will be a presentation before you go on to make your own products (such as moisturiser/cold cream/lip balm). You will be able to take three samples products home with you.

[b]MACRAME WALL HANGING WORKSHOP[/b]
Address: The Wetlands Centre Cockburn, 184 Hope Road, Bibra Lake
Date: Sunday. 25th November 2018 from 2.30 pm to 4.00 pm
Cost: $10
This workshop is suitable for all ages and you will learn to make your own macrame wall hanging with local artist, Sam Pace from The Threaded Wall.
You will use sustainable, recycled t-shirt yarn, and Sam will teach you the art of knot tying. You will make your own piece of art on a wooden hanger, which you can then hang in your home.
You do not need to bring anything unless you would rather a rustic look, and then you can bring a stick/branch to use as a hanger.

[b]SEWING WITH SCRAPS[/b]
Address: The Wetlands Centre Cockburn, in Bibra Lake
Date: Sunday 25th November, from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm
Cost: $5.00
At this workshop, you can learn to make your own Christmas gifts and decorations, using fabric scraps and old clothes. It will be a two hour workshop taken by Jude Ludlam.

[b]HENDERSON WASTE RECOVERY PARK TOUR[/b]
Address: City of Cockburn Administration, 9 Coleville Crescent, Spearwood
Date: Saturday 8th December, 2018, from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm
Cost: Free - suitable for ages 5 years and over
This is a behind-the-scenes tour of the waste recovery park where you will learn about the amazing world of waste. You will be shown how you can minimise waste and how to reuse and recycle products into new and different products. You will also learn how waste gas is turned into electricity.
There is also time to visit the Reuse Shop, where you can buy some bargains as long as you bring cash along.
The meeting place will be the City of Cockburn Administration Centre car park, (bottom of the stairs), where you will travel on their community bus. Please ensure you wear closed in shoes.
[b]BARISTA WORKSHOPS[/b]
For something quite out of the ordinary, why not learn how to become a barista, and impress your friends!

Date: 24th November, from 9.00 am to 12.30 pm
Cost: $135.00
This is the Coffee Fundamentals course and is for beginners. It is a detailed and hands-on class designed to cover all aspects required to make the perfect cup of coffee.
