This year we have been having spectacular winter weather, with clear blue skies, sunshine and just the right amount of crisp coldness. So there is no better way then to pack on the Vitamin D and enjoy the perfect winter day out with the list below of Winter Walks around Sydney.

1. Bondi to Coogee
When: All year round
Where: Start at Bondi Beach, Bondi
Details: Discover the beauty at this world famous beach as you take the coastal walk to the picturesque Coogee Beach. The walk takes you through a combination of beaches, rockpools, parks as well as some spectacular coastal views. You will also pass Aboriginal rock carvings, small secluded beaches, sandstone cliffs, rock formations, cafes and bars.
Grade of walk: Grade 2, medium, 6km (between 1-2 hours), well-maintained pathways, steep stairs near the start of the walk, few steps throughout walk and boardwalk at Bronte Beach. Suitable for most fitness levels and ages. Click here for website.

2. Darling Harbour & Pyrmont Walk
When: All year round
Where: Start at Darling Harbour, Sydney
Details: Explore the wonders of Darling Harbour, start at King Street Wharf making your way past the Wildlife Sydney Zoo, Madame Tussauds Wax Museum & Sea Life Sydney Aquarium, past the cafes & restaurants or you can take a different perspective of Darling Harbour by crossing the Pyrmont Bridge. You can also explore the Chinese Garden of Friendship and Tumbalong Park, then make your way to Pyrmont and discover the wharfs, gardens and the marina life.
Grade of walk: Grade 1, easy, takes around 1 hr to discover fully or a 7 minute walk without stopping and discovering the gems. Suitable for all fitness levels and ages.



3. Sydney Harbour Bridge to South Head
When: All year round.
Where: Start at Sydney Harbour Bridge, Circular Quay.
Details: This lovely and scenic walk takes you on a shoreline walk of Sydney Harbour through to a number of city suburbs, harbour beaches and parks then to the impressive entrance of Sydney Harbour known as South Head. You will pass wonderful urban coastal sceneries, rugged headlands, bushlands, lagoons, bays and beaches, vantage points and lookouts. You will pass Circular Quay, Rose Bay, and Watsons Bay. Grade of walk: Easy to medium, 30km (6-7 hours- all day), mostly even pathways and well-maintained footpaths. Suitable for most fitness levels and ages.

4. Manly Lagoon to North Head**
When: All year round
Where: Start at northern Queenscliff end of Manly Beach, by Manly Lagoon, Manly.
Details: Enjoy breathtaking views, panoramic views of Sydney Harbour and the sweeping city skyline as well as stunning coastal views. You will pass Manly Beach, Shelly Beach, sandstone headland, cliffs, headlands, historic sites, urban coastal, and bushland. Click here for website.
Grade of walk: Easy to medium, 5.8km (1-2hrs), well-maintained pathways. Suitable for all/most fitness levels and ages.

5. Manly to Spit Bridge
When: All year round
Where: Start at Manly Wharf, Manly.
Details: This spectacular and picturesque walk takes you through a mix of bushland, harbourside trails, stunning beaches, bays, inlets, vantage points, lookouts, historic sites, shorelines and cafes & restaurants. Click here for website.
Grade of walk: 10km (3-4hrs), medium, mostly well-maintained pathways, short tracks with well-posted signs. Suitable for most fitness levels and ages.
