With the warm weather upon us, many families are flocking to their local public pools. Below are my personal recommendations for the best water parks offered by public swimming pools, in and around Brisbane. These venues all boast multiple pools and various water play features such as water slides, fountains, squirters and tipping buckets.
1. Chermside Aquatic Centre
(375 Hamilton Rd, Chermside)Home of Brisbane's largest water park, Chermside Aquatic Centre offers numerous slides and a fantastic children's water play area. Visitors can enjoy an open top slide that twists through the tree tops, an enclosed slide and a partnered tube ride. Those seeking more of a thrill will love the shotgun slide.
