Vic Park Vintage Shop Trail

It could be said that the Town of Vic Park has become the new centre for vintage shopping in Perth! In the last four years, the town has seen a collection of independent vintage shops emerge in Victoria Park and Lathlain and now the latest two shops to open are both in Carlisle.

In Retrospect: A shop of colourful retro, quirky giftlines and unique pieces at 239 Albany Hwy, Victoria Park.

These small but mighty businesses are all owned and run by local women, each of them following their dream to create successful, long-running shops within their own thriving community of Victoria Park. Shops such as these are providing much-needed vibrancy, creativity and individuality to this evolving suburb, with each store displaying the owner's passion for finding and choosing great vintage pieces, home décor and gift items.

You may like to make an outing of it and spend some time exploring each space in one day. The shops are close together (5-10mins drive) and all have fabulous cafes nearby to sustain your shopping efforts as well as being close to public transport and with easy parking.

All four vintage shops are colourful, intriguing and individual and sell a wide range of items in differing tastes and styles. You are guaranteed to find a treasure, be it rustic or retro, amusing or antique, kitsch or sublime there is a vintage item or gift for everyone here in the Town of Vic Park. Long live #vicparkvintage.

Friends of mine own The Eclectic Squirrels and Horatio and Agatha. They have worked hard to collect continued good Vintage. They are true locals, helping build this community. Handy map here is great and Kettle Cafe at Lathlain place is always cosy for a cuppa or lunch this Winter. Happy hunting.
