3. Vietnamese Salad: Lentil As Anything looks delicious!
How much did you pay for it?

Also I agree about the felafel from jimmy grants, I had one last night and it was delicious. The slaw and homemade bread makes it one of the best felafels in melbourne (excluding felafel from King Johns, King St).

I disagree about the vegetarian laksa though, Chef Lagenda and Laksa King in Flemington do the best Laksa hand down.

If you're a vego into mock meat, try White Lotus for delicious chinese dishes made form vegies, tofu or soy/gluten meat.

I assumed Laksa King also used chicken stock but called it vegan!

Laksa King laksa is great and vegan, however Chef Legenda uses chicken stock as their base. I advised them to name the dish vegetable laksa not vegetarian laksa.

thanks John! I was more out and about to try some vegetarian specific places so really enjoyed the laksa, but Laska King has been on my to-go-list for a long time!

I don't recall how much we paid for the salad as we ordered quiet a few other things!

I am a bit indifferent to mock meat and kind of prefer tofu to be honest :D
