I have mentioned in several of my articles that I went to a vegan lunch and although not a vegan, I have written several articles on vegan events.

I find the concept very interesting, and although I probably would not go to the trouble of learning vegan recipes, I do intend to go to some of the following cafes to eat vegan and vegetarian food and I have already dined at some of these.

[b]SOURCE FOODS[/b]
Address: 289 Beaufort Street, Highgate
Opening Times: Monday-Saturday 7.00 am-3.00 pm, Sunday 7.30 am-3.00 pm

Although not all their meals are vegan here, there are a lot that are. With quite a good menu you are sure to find some vegan meals here. They describe themselves are a [i]"haven for plant-based cuisine"[/i]. They even have vegan feta as well as falafel, chilli pesto, marinated mushrooms and more. They have both inside and outside seating and you can find out more here.

[b]LORD OF THE FLIES[/b]
Address: Monday-Tuesday 9 am-10 pm, Wednesday -Thursday 9 am to 12 am, Friday 9 am-2 am, Saturday 9 am-3 am, Sunday10 am-10 pm

This firm began in 2004 as a mobile van in Melbourne selling fries and has since grown to become a vegan fast food franchise with numerous outlets. They have a range of veg fast food that is one of the best in the world. They do all day breakfast, have plant-based burgers, hot dogs, nuggets and more!

[b]GENESIS IN THE HILLS[/b]
Address: 124 Croyden Rd, Roleystone
Opening times: Thursday - Saturday 9 am to 4 pm, Sunday 8 am-4 pm

This is a haven in the hills, where they serve a lot of vegan meals as well as vegetarian. They have fresh, nutritious plant-based healthy food, organic coffee, and delicious cakes.

[b]RAW & MORE CAFE[/b]
Address: 1267 Hay St, West Perth
Opening hours: Monday-Friday: 8.00 am -3.00 pm, Sat : 8.00 am - 2.00 pm, Sunday : 9.00 am - 2.00 pm

Here you can get raw sweets all day with many options to eat including no added sugar, gluten-free and vegan-friendly food. They also do smoothies and freshly made healthy juices.

[b]THE RAW KITCHEN[/b]
Address: 181A High St, Fremantle
Opening hours: 11.30 am - 3 pm

Their food is all plant-based and made without dairy, gluten, refined sugar or additives. In other words, it is real and natural whole foods and they have both raw and cooked foods. They often have specials and their food is seasonal.

[b]CHIC PEA VEGAN CAFE[/b]
Address: 322A South Terrace, South Fremantle
Opening times: Thursday 11.00 am-2.30 pm, Friday 9.00 am-8.00 pm, weekends 9.00 am-6.00 pm

Chic Pea Vegan Cafe also has gluten-free choices. They serve different burgers, curry, quiche and sweets. All are homemade and if there is no room to sit at the markets you are close by to the Esplanade Park.

[b]ROHO BURE VEGAN ICE CREAM[/b]

Opening times: Tuesday 2.00-9.00 pm, Wednesday-Thursday 12.00 noon - 9.00 pm, Friday-Saturday 12.00 noon - 10.00 pm, Sunday 12.00 noon - 9.00 pm

This cafe has vegan and vegetarian food and specialises in vegan and gluten-free ice cream. They have outside dining as well as inside and is only a few minutes from the beach. Their ice cream is made in small quantities so it is always fresh as well as being healthy, sugar-free and organic. They have a large range of delicious flavours and a weekly special.

[b]FLORA AND FAUNA CAFE[/b]
Address: 70 Aberdeen Street, Northbridge
Opening times: weekdays 7:30 am-2 pm, weekends 8:30 am-2 pm

This is a small cafe which is tucked-away in Northbridge. They serve locally roasted coffee, teas, vegan treats, and healthy brunches. They are both vegan and vegetarian. I have been here just for coffee and was impressed with their quirky menu and their decorations of edible flowers!

Opening Times: Monday 8 am-6 pm, Tuesday 8 am-8 pm, Wednesday-Friday 8 am-9.pm, Saturday 9 am-9.pm, Sunday 9 am-7 pm

This is a cafe I go to regularly and you can read all about it at this link. I first went there some two years ago and it is so good that I am still going regularly nowadays! Always fresh and tasty vegetarian food that now also have vegan options.

[b]HEALTH FREAK CAFE[/b]
Address: 22 Scarborough Beach Road, Scarborough
Opening times: Monday-Wednesday 7 am-4 pm, Thursday 7 am-8 pm, Sunday 7 am-4 pm

They have a good range of food which is gluten and sugar-free. They do breakfast, lunch and deserts that are raw, vegetarian and vegan as well as high protein, low carbs. In other words, clean eating including protein shakes and smoothies.
